I added another two tank cars. Those are more modern bu modified Marklin's: Together with other cars it is a beginning of the train:
Sweet tankers you got there sir! It looks like you have a nice set of cars there. I especially like it when the letterboards are all full of reporting data. You made some very detailed decals, excellent work!
I have been asked to make one PKPO 101A car especially for Altenbeken show. It is 3D printed. Work in progress:
Hi Pawel, your 101A looks good. Printing quality seems to improve over time. Verstuurd vanaf mijn ANE-LX1 met Tapatalk
Another Marklin BD will serve as PKP. Right one was made some months ago but the left one needed decals.
I think it is a birch: https://muratordom.pl/galeria/brzoz...ze-brzozy/gg-wpyu-CLGe-Nh2R/gp-N7Ni-TKqM-XJQD
Time to work on locomotives. Thics time it is BR86 to be converted info PKP Tkt3. During the work I did several things: - removed top front and end lights (they were not used in Poland) - removed number plate from the front of the locomotive - added "wooden top" of coal box - they were extended at PKP in this way - new painting including white edges of the wheels - new decals - weathering Work in progress: Final result: With local train:
@bostonjim - Thank you for the comment. I do have some more steamers waiting to be converted into PKP. Next on the benchwork is BR78 - work will be more extensive and I plan to show how it is done: I am really insired by this photo of PKP Oko1-11 locomotive: I started the job with back of the loco - all three lights must be reworked: Upper one should be removed and the lower ones must be replaced to be in the middle of the box instead of lower edge. It is always a little bit frightening to "destroy" those tiny models:
Looks good Pawel! Good choise, this is one of Märklin's best running steam locomotives, even with 3-pole motor. Verstuurd vanaf mijn ANE-LX1 met Tapatalk
Return to narrow gauge equipment. Cars were mede some years ago but were missing decals. They are finished now:
