Just got an email that PM 1225 and NKP 765 will be doubleheading on a fall excursion run in Michigan. No. 765 wll also operate a doubleheaded steam excursion with steam locomotive no. 1225 on a fall foliage trip from Alma to Cadillac Michigan on October 3rd. Yeah! Steam lives again in the east. This in addition to the excursions that each will run on July 25 and 26 at the Owosso Steam Festival. I sure would like to be there, as I have ridden behind the 765 years ago and actually ran 1225 as a participant in one of their Engineer for an Hour programs.
