Looks very different Paul. I guess it means a duck under for access. What height from the floor would this be?
You might gain some duck under clearence with a trestle bridge spanning connecting the upper levels and making the alley look like you are coming in via the creek...and I am sure that film could easiley be built along with that!!!
Looks good Paul. I like the continious run and you still have lots of loging spurs. The 4 bridges at the top will look real good, sort of John Allenish I would build it at least 60 inches high at the lowest leval. Makes it a lot eaiser to get into. Mine also runs arround the walls with a duckunder but its more like 65 inches off the floor. Makes for great viewing....Mike
Knowing your talent Paul, I know whatever you build or modify will be excellent. I am not a fan of duck unders, but if it works for you, that's great.
Excellent plan Paul. If you go with the duck-under section, I would put it on hinges and make it a fold up. This way you do not actually have to duck under. Just 2 cents from someone with an aching back Russ Hoffman Valley RR
The only thing you might want to try to fit in would be a couple staging tracks, just so you can have a place to store a couple extra trains to run when you're too tired to watch anything else. After you tackle this project, that may not take to long! Seriously, this plan looks nice. Good luck, Paul! Pat
