Ha, well I just bought one of these, quite literally out of the trunk of someone's vehicle! Ok, so it was actually in the passenger seat, with the seatbelt on, but the other way sounds more exciting and dangerous. I'm pretty sure it's an authentic version of the model...no black market fake here. Although these are slightly past the tail end of my era, I couldn't resist after seeing it in person. I had lunch with a friend/fellow model railroader and he offered one of his 12 up for sale. I took it home and put it on the layout and it seemed to roll "normally" compared with other similar cars. I don't have 30 of them to test but at least in my experience the rolling quality was typical. Nice job, Craig!
