I have some, but not all of the info for early VO-1000s used by PRR. I'm not sure if the body is the 11 or 15 vent type. From some of the pics I think it's 11. Also, I've seen some with a single short stack and others with the four short stacks. Which one (of the different stack types) was most common during the '30s and '40s? And lastly, there appear to be two different cab types but honestly I can't tell one apart from the other. I think it's that one has rounded front windows and the other is square, but I'm not sure.
Tony...though not a photo, think this should show what you want to see on a PRR BS-10 (VO-1000). Bob C. Thanks, Tony...senior moment and...sumpin' else...I ferget...http://prr.railfan.net/diagrams/PRRdiagrams.html?diag=bs10_E429414d.gif&sel=die&sz=sm&fr= hope this works...:membarrassed:
Pretty sure the two different cabs are either the Loewy styled one, with the rounded additions in front on the battery box on the long hood,or just the plain, square corner on the front of the cab..
