Question about DM&E expanding into Wyoming.

    Someone told me a few years ago that DM&E was going to expand into the Powder River Basin. Did it ever happen? Forgive me if it's been discussed here.

    They recently received approval from the government. However, they were turned down by the government for a large loan that would have partially funded the project. Stay tuned tomorrow, same time, same station. Fran

    Somewhere, way back in that process, there had been mention of private funding potential. So I am waiting to see if that resurfaces. This may not be completely dead.

    Hopefully there will be a third railroad tapping PRB coal, like there was before the UP-CNW merger.
