I was looking at one of the Gray Brothers piece. Anyone knows how they did? 1-Their snow? 2-Their red Christmas Ornaments? (little red beeds). 3-The snow on the evergreens? (does not look the same as the snow on the ground) 4-Their trees are made off? Auction #6014624632 on ebay http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=6014624632&ru=http%3A%2F%2Fsearch.ebay.ca%3A80%2Fsearch%2Fsearch.dll%3Ffrom%3DR40%26satitle%3D6014624632%26fvi%3D1 And this person (member7741765) from ebay bought for more than $15 000 worth of Gray brothers pieces since last September, ouch!!!
Yes he bought other stuffs, almost all z-scale items on ebay. But comming back to my original questions, anyone knows more about the material the Gray Bros use for scratch building? Thanks
I took a good look at the photo's and it looks like the pine trees are identical to some Life-Like pine trees I have seen, the deciduous trees look just like Woodland Scenics Fine-Leaf Foliage, the snow could be made by Busch, Noch, or Woodland Scenics. I can't tell what the ornaments look like, but maybe round cut glitter? -Robert
Thanks Pray59 For the beads I think I found what they are using http://www.blockheadstamps.com/marblesmicro.html
That's a great find! Those glass beads look just like ornaments. I think the red ones could be used as candy apples on my snack bar. -Robert
