Question for moderator?

Hi. Why, when I go to post a pic on Trainboard, does it often get posted sideways when it is right side up in my (Android) phone gallery? It's really annoying, and I don't know how to fix it. Thanks. Lowell.

 

It is a well known bug with the XenForo 1.x software. It has been fixed in newer versions of the Software (XenForo 2.0.0 and newer).

Yes, this site uses the XenForo Forum Software Platform (https://xenforo.com). It is currently running a very outdated, unsupported, eol'd version (XF 1.x). The current supported version is XF 2.2.13.

The issue you are having is a BUG in the XF 1.x version of the software. It has nothing to do with Android or IOS, its a bug in the software itself.

The bug has been fixed in the 2.x branch of the software From what I understand, Ownership is looking into getting this site upgraded to the current/supported version.
