Regarding posts about perceived dissatisfaction with retailers. I agree with the policy of the administrators and their difficulty of how to and when to handle these posts.

A disrespectful post should be quickly flushed. However (you knew a however was coming :tb-smile:) I ask if there is not a place for a reasonable post questioning either a customer and or vendors actions.

Perhaps such a place as "The Cattle Car" where bull, so to speak, meets the road.

Standards of conduct would still be maintained regarding the posts and it is a forum where you must join it to view the posts. Therefore the general member ship would not be subjected to them.

Anyway, as a relatively new member I hope I did not step out of bounds with this suggestion.

    Ron,

This is a reasonable question. The problem is that these things can result in threats of legal action, and I don't think any of us wants to have to cough up the money needed for legal defense.

The best course of action that I can recommend is to take it up with the individual customer or vendor, and be polite yet firm and persistent in your communications. After that, I would recommend going to the Better Business Bureau and pursue the options there.

The staff members can be PM'd with concerns related to TrainBoard or TrainBoard advertisers. We may or may not be able to help, but at least we can listen to one's concerns.

    Good luck!

Our Policy is simple any post of this nature will be reported, deleted and the Thread the post is in Locked so no other comments can be added.

    see below....

While we appreciate input from our members that is intended to help protect others from bad dealings, we do not allow these kinds of posts at TrainBoard.

Some people will have great luck with a particular vendor, while others will relate a horror story.

Whenever something positive is posted about a vendor, someone will usually counter with a story relating the opposite experience.

Then, it follows that we are threatened by the vendor to remove the post.

We have neither the time, nor money, to be drawn into such battles.

We encourage you to shop with
TrainBoard advertisers as we believe them to be of the highest quality.

If you have a problem with a TrainBoard advertiser, or just want to relate a bad experience with any retailer, please let us know by
e-mail. This is done in confidence and we do appreciate hearing about problems that people have.

We may, or may not, be able to help you - depending on the circumstances.

We have successfully resolved a number of issues in the past - most of which are caused by simple misunderstandings.

    Thank you.

    Hello Admins.

Personally I have never had a major issue with any e-vendors I've dealt with. Some are faster than others in responding to orders or inquiring about a shipment. But so far I'm satisfied with them.

BTW: Since as I said, I'm relatively new I'm not found all information on the site.
I've missed where the site rules and regulations are and I want to make sure I don't cross (to far :tb-smile: ) over the line.

I Just found the site rules & Regs.

    See ya
