I have been slowly and systamatically changing my fleet over to kadee knuckle couplers, and I thought the Bachmann plus F7's were hard (452's) but now I am doing all my IHC passenger cars. I have the #508 conversion kit, but I cant for the life of me figure out how to remove the body off the passenger car. Its a smooth side PS. PLEASE HELP. Vile
The roof comes off and takes the windows with it. You don't need to do this to change the couplers though. The pins that hold the trucks on are just push on-pull off. If you do want to open the cars, look for some tabs sticking out of the bottom of the floor. With small screw drivers, pry the clips slightly and gently away and push up. The roof will start to move upward. Gently pull up evenly on the roof to remove it and the windows. Hope this helps. David
