Okay, here's a couple of shots for the brave at heart looking for a new project.. These are in the Bakersfield yard. From what SP4009 tells me, there's no power anything, just a sled with an electric gong.. Kel
Didn't see anything like that when I was last in Bakersfield - thank goodness! I hate to see a locomotive with blanked out windows, but yeah, would make interesting models.
IIRC, those slugs are MU'd to any engine, and they have all the radio eqipment to run RC operations. Doesn't restrict only one or 2 engines to RC duty that way.
