That trio of fallen flags was just mint! Lots of great material and the one liners are always gold!

Too bad that water tower was not full of my favorite beverage. But then again, I suppose a steam locomotive would not do well with that.

Outstanding photography and wild witty comments to spice things up even more.(y)

    They got stones.:D

Other than smelling like a brewery, the term "belching" steam and smoke would be more than just figurative...:eek:

I thought about "stones" but that sounded too much like "Scones" and that made me want something to go with my coffee plus I figured someone would make a comment about the stones "Rolling" :D:p:LOL::ROFLMAO:

Thread drift warning: didn't Lone Star have a couple of engines at its brewery, or was that Pearl? I think they were electric.

In OUR context, I believe this represents the REAL Lone Star:

Just to be clear, I have absolutely nothing against our wonderful state of Texas and hope to visit there, someday.

    :D

In fact, Texas and the western craze of the late forties and fifties was the inspiration for the name of the toy division of Die Cast Machine Tools, Ltd. in England.
