Hi everyone, hope your Labor Day weekend is going well! Here are the selections for this week. We have NSFan14 with another shot of Southern 630 fitz brings us more steam with 4449 co_riff brings us two rather different looking Geeps inch53 shows a neat little station from Turner, Indiana and YoHo brings us an image of the Portola Railroad Days Special
That shot of Southern 630 over the bridge is breathtaking. I envy the guy standing on the tender. I also like that old Geep in the Portola photo - it still has one of those old barrel-type headlights. Nice touch.
Good choices once again Bill, and thank you for choosing one of mine. I'll join in the praise of the first photo by NSfan14. Interesting that the shot at Portola featuring the switching of the passenger consist---the three cars at the tail end are the same three that brought up the markers in my shot of 4449 going through the Deschutes River gorge--Silver Lariat (I think), Plaza Santa Fe (where I was riding), and Silver Solarium. These three show up in the consists of many excursions and all are fun cars to ride.
