    The roof is in the worst shape, the rest is in good shape.

    Why is it still standing? Would it be a big pain to demolish? Or some other reason?

    I think the state park owns it. That's all I know about it.

    Ah. So perhaps it is a historic site or landmark. That would be a good reason.

    I see some nice scenery ideas in the Thurmond pic, especially the little dirt road that winds through the trees.
