Hi everyone! Hope your weekend is going well. Here are this one's picks. BuddyBurton with the Iowa City, IA CRI&P Station, with a rather appropriate locomotive. txronharris with a BNSF freight bierbass with a ratty warbonnet Ironhorseman with a view of the Yreka Western and jhn_plsn with a wonderful Cajon shot.
Nice photos everyone. What is left of that turnout at Yreka Western looks like it needs a little work.
Thanks Legoman Bill for the add. The weather was a bit chilly but the weather was in my favor for this "perfect" catch. And to top it off, it was pulling all intermodal on the mainline westbound.
Nice choices, Bill. Lots of comments come to mind. Nice depot shot, Buddy, and one of my favorite color schemed units there too. Bierbass, even ratty warbonnets look good. The Y-W is looking sad, Bill. And Cajon is always a fine viewing spot.
I'll repeat my comment about Buddy's RI depot - it's beautiful, and the heritage units complement it nicely. It's a ratty warbonnet, but it's in the lead! I see it's only been patched on the cab, so it's practically still an ATSF loco. And the Cajon shot is really good. Magnificent landscape in that part of the world. And trains to make it even nicer!
