Hello everyone! This week we have quite the variety. To start of we have BuddyBurton with UP Olympic SD70M 2001 Hytec with a portion of an AAPRCO special Ironhorseman with an old Kyle Railways GP20 r_i_straw with a Russian railway scene YoHo in Fullerton and co_riff with an impressive bridge view
Good selection this week, and thanks for mine. It was fun photographing that train. I'd never been close to any AAPRCO consist before.
Hank, I see the "Federal" on the right in your photo. I was fortunate to get a tour of that car when it was parked at the Union Station in Kansas City back in 2009.
Russell, I was so excited just being close to those cars taking photos I never thought to ask the attendants for a tour of their cars...too soon old, too late smart. :crying:
Bill, what a nice variety this week. Way to go, everyone. I am amazed at how well those UP Olympics paint jobs have held up over the years.
Great to see those GN colors again... And that Kyle GP20 looks like it was deturbocharged and had paper air filters put in. It also looks like it had a long, hard working life. Tough old beast!
Me too Jim. Of course there were rumors flying around about them getting painted into the UP Armor scheme, but haven't seen that happen yet-and I hope they don't do it either.
