Been a long time since I last saw a GP30 on BNSF. I wonder how many remain rostered, rebuilt, or not?

The old steam curmudgeon, (me) has seen so many diesel photos that I am beginning to recognize some of them, like the GP-30, which is pretty easy to spot. Seems like it was called a GP-39 in the original post. What's the difference? Powerplant?
Ferromex engines are colorful. Nice job, guys.

The foamers around here call the Ferromex engines "Chilli Peppers".

BNSF has some remanufactured GP 30 units, which are now supposedly designated "GP39E", "GP39M", "GP39V". I believe this was all done while in BNRR ownership. Depends upon who did the work. The power plants were updated, electrical and electronics as well.
