Hi ! If anyone is interested some of my friends and I are trying to get as many Railfanners together on April 15 ,in Decatur,AL. to just kick back and watch trains . Check out my web site for more info... http://rayspics.railfan.net/ ------------------ R Cole - Trains of the South
Ray, I was, until early 1999, a resident of Paris, Texas, and had the opportunity to shoot most of the shortlines in that area, as well as the Columbus & Greenville from Greenville to Greenwood, MS. I've gotten used to seeing a secondhand Geep pulling a string of pulpwood flats & boxcars filled with paper down a tree-lined track. Do you have pictures from your April meeting? If so, would you be interested in sharing with us? ------------------ Ship IT on the Frisco! Bob T. http://hometown.aol.com/slsf1630/myhomepage/profile.html

Hmmmmmmmmmm....lessee.....some more of my favorite Southern railfanning spots: Kansas City Southern, Heavener, OK (yard, fuel & crewchange stop, branch to Waldron, AR helper station), and south along US 59 to Mena, AR over Rich Mountain Texarkana, AR/TX, in front of Union Station, or from the 9th St. bridge shooting KCS, MP and Cotton Belt action (MP and SSW are now in UP) Tower 55, Ft. Worth. Mecca to Texas trainwatchers- ATSF, MKT, BN, SP, and Amtrak (now BNSF, UP and Amtrak- soon it'll have Trinity Rail Express' commuter trains from Dallas!WOOHOO!) Afton, OK, along the Frisco/BN/BNSF main. It's the junction of the Cherokee and Afton Subs, and a lot of freights roll thru here. ------------------ Ship IT on the Frisco!
