The Quill scenes are very nice! The film is mostly NP, but the GN circus train scene on the Butte-Helena-Great Falls line is just GOLD!
That NP FT scene with what seems to be a dyno car is also very cool!

I think that's the first run over the NP, what a historical video!
The ferry "Kalakala" is seen, very cool!

The MILW scenes with B-W motors are all very early 1939 or prior to that. In March of 1939 they were all renumbered from five numerals, to the E + two digit series.

Scenes showing Kalakala would be 1935 or later. Those views are at Bremerton, where the ferry dock was and still is right by (note the crane) the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard.

Love the Seattle waterfront train move and all of the old streetcars. My parents rode those many, many times.

Those EMD FT units should be what was a part of the 1939 demonstrator tour.

Butte was the end of what was a branch line for the GN. Busy at the time, with the mines going full blast. I am thinking that circus train may have been handed off to them by the NP.
