Hi There, April 16th/2000. Re D & H PAs etc. I'm not sure about others but I did have the chance to ride a Psgr Extra with a Pair of C.N. F4As the 6700s from Montreal to Pouses Point and from there we took a pair of the D & H PAs down to Whitehall and back. We took the 6700s back at the Border to Montreal. This was in the 70s. I don"t know if others have any Pictures but I still have some. If I knew how to post on the Internet etc, I'd B Interested in posting for all to see. Just thought you'd B interested to Know. Also just a Reminder, Does anyone Remember that D & H Steam Trip to Montreal in the 70s. Nice Trip. Just a few Trips to the Past I guess. Andrew, As for posting D&H imgaes, The Delaware and Hudson Virtual Museum (DHVM) is being built for just that purpose. Send your images to dhvm@rrmail.com and they will be posted on your behalf at www.trainweb.org/dhvm within the "Gallery". If you need help doing this, please let me know and I will help you. ------------------ Strourbridge Lion strourbridgelion@yahoo.com http://www.trainweb.org/dhvm/
Have a look at these superb photos of the PA's. They are sure going to take some restoring!!! http://www.vcn.com/~alkrug/temp/pas.html ------------------ Alan The perfect combination - BNSF and N Scale! www.ac-models.com http://Andersley.homestead.com http://galleryusarail_tehcaj.homestead.com http://eurogallery.homestead.com
Saw these earlier today too. I hope to see even more photograph's alomg the root and throughout the restoration. I hope we can get all of the D&H PA images within the DHVM as part of a "Special Dedication" wing that will be forthcoming. Having photographs from various collection's throughout time will make a wonderful pictorical history of these GREAT engines. Long live the PA's of the D&H... ------------------ Strourbridge Lion strourbridgelion@yahoo.com http://www.trainweb.org/dhvm/
