I've begun looking for structures and components for my layout, and I'm looking for a recommendation for a passenger platform.

I'm modeling the modern era (anything from say the 70's to present day). I will have 3 stations that will be intermediate stops along the main line, and there will be 3 tracks between the north and south platforms. Ideally, I'm looking for a platform that will have a "tunnel" entrance built into it (obviously, it won't connect to a real tunnel) but I'd like to give the illusion that you can walk under the tracks through a tunnel to get from the station to the other side.

Some of my stations will have an overhead pedestrian walkway, and I think that will be easy enough to find. But the platforms I'm seeing don't seem to have that tunnel entrance built into it.

I also want to find some that do NOT have a tunnel entrance on them, as they will be at terminals at the end of the line.

In general, I'd like to use the same style of platforms at all the stations, as I'm picturing this freelance commuter line as having been upgraded from end to end. However, if I can't do that, then it's not the end of the world.

I'm handy with models (have built many model airplanes in the past) and have no problem with kits. I'm less experienced with building something like this from scratch.

Any advice or product hints would be appreciated!

The Walthers Butterfly platforms are very nice but the roof supports are very, very fragile. The're so fragile that when I bought mine several were broken in the sealed box. woo woo woo replaced the order once, same problem then finally sent me enough for the project from my original returned order and two other sealed packages they opened at the store and salvaged the unbroken supports.
And kudos to woo woo woo woo woo woo for making things right!!!

My Walthers Union Station is above the tracks, and I used the Kato overhead walkway ramps to get down to my Walthers platforms. I don't know if your set up could use those in reverse but they are enclosed stairs which look a little wrong as japanese prototypes, but not bad other wise. And, not a real hard styrene scratchbuild, either.
