Three night ago I finally hooked up the new Super Chief to the new layout. (1) It was easy; (2) It is fantastic; (3) It changes everything about model railroading; (4) It makes N gauge operation realistic; (5) all the other things to love about DCC (just fill in whatever good stuff you like). It is a temp install, just couldn't wait any longer. I had NO TROUBLE with Kato turnouts, #4's or #6's. I will run a buss line over the weekend for the drops (I won't reveal how they are connected now in case anyone has a weak heart). I only have two decoder equipped engines currently, but I have a bag full of decoders to install. I am starting with the newer Atlas plug and plays first.
