    Absolutely, NOT.
    The core (no pun intended) is a saturatable core transformer. When the DC current flows thru it, it 'chokes' the High Frequency from passing thru.
    If you put DCC on it, it would now be a step up transformer, putting a crazy DCC signal out there.
