    Hello,

I'm looking for reliable "track charts" for the NYC. Particularly the divisions stretching from NYC through Clevland and Buffalo.

    (I know that's alot!!!!)

I'm in the process of choosing the locale for my new HO pike and I'm leaning greatly toward the B&A simply bbecause it has a great many aspects that are enticing to a modeler. Recently I've acquired a full track chart for the entire B&A which can help greatly with track planning.

I don't want to rule out any other options yet though and that is the reason for my post.

    Thanks!!

484, welcome to the New York Central forum. I'm not sure what you mean by track charts. I have elevation drawings for the entire NYCS, courtesy of LEW who will probably join this discussion. The midwest part you are interested in is pretty far removed from the B&A. I'm not a modeller but I'd bet the B&A would be more interesting to model, with the mountains and the Hoosac Tunnel. :teeth:

Yeah, have seen them, but I don't own any. I wonder if the New York Central System Historical society would be of any help? I know they have all that stuff, but have been notoriously slow to respond to inquiries. :embarassed:
