I stumbled upon a website that has a nice photo archive of trains, nicely categorized by country, region, state and city even. I found some shots of Steamtown which reminded me of when I was a kid, specifically October 23, 1983 when steam town had their last excursion in VT. I never got any pics of that last trip steamtown made. I remember there were 3 Alco RS-11's? and a steamer 4-8-2 I think. Anyway, just wondering if anyone knows where to find pics or that specific trip. -thanks Charles
Hi Charles, welcome to the train Board, we're glad to have you on board. Not specifically what you are looking for, but somewhere I have photos of when my sons and I visited Bellows Falls Steamtown in summer '71, and rode behind an RS-1. I'll try to locate and post them tomorrow or Monday, just for the memories.

i used to visit that site actually to check some old train photo's which i used in my work. i didn't noticed it though until you mentioned about Steamtown in Vermont which does look likes it.
