To-day I received my Republic Locomotive Works order, included in which was some roofing material. They are labelled 'random cedar shakes'. They are on a white sheet with a light brown pattern printed on the front. On the back there appears to be some sticky paper. There are no directions. I am assuming that you lay these lengthwise on your roof then paint over with a brown color. Is there anything more than need be done to them? Has anyone ever used these?
