Hi guys, I'm back after quite a hectic couple a months. If you want to know where I've been, ask Jim, I ain't going through that again. Anyway to my question. Please help a slightly baffled Brit. According to a list of DRGW train numbers that I have, the original MDVPU or PUDV as you now call them, used to be numbered trains 61 and 62. However on a number of video's I have, keep refering to trains 161 and 162. Can I assume this means first #61 and first #62, and that sometimes a 261 or 262 ran if required, or is there another reason. Secondly, did DRGW have a "hot" 'Q' train between Denver and Pueblo, or did they all run in the 61/62 train. Thanks in advaaance Ron
Ron, According to the time-tables there were 2 assigned trains between Denver-Pueblo. #165 left Denver at 0400 #167 left Denver at 1600 #166 left Pueblo at 2200 #168 left Pueblo at 1700 162/163 were the Pueblo-Alamosa trains. But you are right in that the [1]is for the first section and 2, second and so on. There was no "Q" or "Z" train, all the pigs and autos were just put on the regular trains.
