Rivarossi was sold out! But anyways i got one of their Big Boy engines! My most prized posession!! Only thing about it is that it doesnt match the real engine, it's all black. #4008 had graphite/black color scheme, and it was scrapped in the 1960's after accumulating 1,039,600 miles.
Hey Will, If your wanting that loco proto-type, I can paint it the way it was meant to be!! By proto-type photographs!!!!!! I repair and paint in the hobby for a living but if you can handle it yourself.......HAVE A BLAST the mallet loco's are a fun one to paint believe me I painted many and its very time consuming!!!!!! Naw, that's ok John, I like it just the way they made it. Besides it'll add value in later years if it's not exactly painted like the original.
