Great stuff Paul! You been busy, I like the MKT locos for sure. Been trying to catch up on all your progress. I really like the D&RGW hopper, saw one in GJ not too long ago still had the Rio Grande on it too. But I had no camera. I bet a guy could spend some time trying to figure out how to spot and pull all those cars.
What kind of camera do you use?

On the new extension- I keep wondering if without any engine escape or runaround, needing to make everything a shoving move might become a bit tedious?

Yes. I saw that. Just thinking and looking at your original design, which has a small runaround. I was just imagineering, with crossovers as they are, it brings you back into the original scene area- which shortens the illusion of distance or size of empire.

Very nice and tidy work there! I really like the valance/shadowbox construction, when my layout gets to a permanent home i ll most probably add this (a valance add-on) to my existing modules.

    Thanks for posting!

Paul, how do you mount the LEDs to the inside of your valance? L- channel, free stand? I'm about to embark on that and would be interested in your thoughts. M

Paul, first off, beautiful layout and well done. Your layout is certainly pushing me into going back to HO after a 25 year absence. I've been modeling 1960's industrial switching in N for about four years and while I enjoy the fact that selective compression is not used and the layout takes up only a limited space, I'm tired of the reliability issues that come with N scale. Mainly track issues, stalls, lack of sound and lately, my eye sight! I think I'm more of a "point to point, switching" modeler more than a round and round and HO just seams so much better at this.

It would also allow me to go back to my roots of B&M and Maine Central modeling....
