I've asked elsewhere and didn't get an answer except I don't know. So here goes.

Did the Rock at or near the end, have any cabooses with electric marker lights?

If yes, I am guessing they were the single light above the door in the center of the caboose?

I'd really like to install some GATRworks lights in some Rock crummys I have but want to do it correctly.

If they were still using kerosene lanterns I'm guessing there were always one on each rear corner of the hack.

Obviously this is at night of course.

I have pictures that show red reflectors used in the lantern mounts in the daytime.

"At or near the end" it was lucky if a caboose was available. The bay window variety had the roof mounted markers like the SP cars. Athearn at one time included this in their bay window model.
Looking through books and photos the wide vision style car looks as though no marker was applied. Reflectorized paddles were used. I do remember seeing a photo of a caboose taken in Ft Worth after the shutdown showing a wide vision style car with a red marker centered above the end platform.
This may have been an exception applied to some cars.
