I model Rock Island, but early "pre blue" years, so havent really looked for them in that scheme.... Im sure there are some better manufactures that do, but again, not sure. I know bachmann did several in that theme, even a wide vision caboose. I have a few of them, but dont run them. I know Intermountian has box cars, in about 8 or more different reporting numbers, and Micro Trains makes a couple box cars, gondolas, etc, but earlier years and themes..

Could you paint your own? I presume this is N scale as there are probably more options in H0 scale?

You didn't state what scale, but when I'm looking for hard to find cars, every few days , I type in "N scale (or HO) and the road, (in your case Rock Island)" into an ebay search. At some point this will find you every car ever made in that paint scheme, including any "custom painted" units. Might take a while though.

I have not paid attention in recent years. In the past, Micro-Trains has done a couple. MDC did box cars.
