I'm interested in modeling one of the heavyweight passenger trains that travelled the Spine Line to and from Minneapolis back in, say, the 1940s - either the Short Line Express (trains 16/17) or the Mid-Continent Special (trains 15/18). Unfortunately, I haven't been able to track down any consist information for either train. And although I've found a few pictures scattered throughout my various reference works, they're pretty much limited to pretty three-quarters views of the locomotives (and with only tantalizingly useless views of the passenger cars in the background). Any Rock Island fans and/or heavyweight passenger train mavens out there? I sure could use some guidance here. Thanks, -Mark
