Here we go, this is my very very rough plan of what I could end up with someday. I have no idea as far as layout size etc..this is just a rough plan of what I'd like to have. When I start putting track to plywood I'll be able to get a better idea of what'll work and what won't. Any ideas are very welcome. Key: 1. Coal mining facility, within a mountain 2. Village of Bear Run 3. Bear Run passenger station 4. Factory 5. Farmland with houses barns, fields, crops, livestock. 6. Freight terminal, handles goods from factory, and produce/livestock from farms. 7. railroad yard, car shops, loco shop, yard tower, etc... 8. Steel Mill 9. Daisytown, larger city. 10. Large Passenger Station
Why don't you do a copy and paste job, and also start this thread in the Layout Design forum. People from various scales haunt there, and their experience is still legitimate even though you are an N're.
