    Hey guys,

Looking to build RI RS2m 452 in N scale. All the pictures I have show no lettering at all on loco. No frame stripes, heralds, nothing. Does anyone have a picture of 452 when it came back from EMD????? Seems to me there had to be some type of lettering.

    Thanks,

Would love to see you able to complete this ,model. I am not in possession of my RI books at this time, or I would prowl those pages and see if...

The actual build won't be an issue.....it's the decaling, if I can't find anything, I'll letter it like 453.....

Here are links to a couple of photos in the rebuilt configuration, both on rrpicturearchives.net:

Broadside view of engineer's side, http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/locopicture.aspx?id=117540

Mostly short-hood nose view and engineer's side (Alco cab windows clearly in view): http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=1516333

Both of these date to the 1973-74 time frame, and you're right, not much lettering of any kind, nearly purely GP9 hood. Be sure to add plenty of fuel spills and other weathering if you're modeling this era!
