Well known on the U.K railway modelling scene for his Japanes Z gauge Shinkansen (Bullet Train) layouts Chris sadly lost his long battle with illness and passed away recently. He had been working on a new layout based on the Santa Fe in Arizona and was due to exhibit it for the first time at a couple of local shows but sadly didn't make it.
