I am ready to add some basic scenery to my layout and have thinking about getting a video to help show me how to do it. I like the idea of a video so I can see the work being done and can imitate the pros. There are a few of them out there, but I don't have any idea how good they are, so hopefully you guys can give me your take on them, if you have seen any of them. The ones I have seen listed are: -Scenery Tips from the Great Model Railroads Series 1,2,&3 by Allen Keller -Model Railroad Scenery Made Easy by Kalmbach -SubTerrain: A How-To Video by Woodland Scenics If you know of others that you would recommend please let me know. And if you are done with a video and would like to pass it on, I would be glad to help you out
Geoffrey: I purchased a video from Woodland Scenics--I think it was called "Clinic" and (not suprizingly) it was a couple of their employees using their scenery practice kit to create a small scene at a demo clinic at some meeting. I thought it was good and have loaned it to someone (not sure who). Our local NMRA chapter has a video library and (if your are or become an NMRA member you could borrow a copy that way.
