I have been out of the loop for a few days. Drove for 2 days to south Texas to spend the holidays with family. This is also the place where I last left a box that had the reversed etched detail for the SD70ACe's. Some of you have requested these side handrails for possible scratch builds or kit bashing. Thought I'd start a new thread as a possible source for parts and materials to help Z scalers build what they most want. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- I will start it off by saying, currently, I have about 12 more sets, possibly more, of those reversed SD70ACe side handrails. I do have 2 sets waiting to be sent off to a fellow Z scaler. But I have about 12 left. Please note these are slightly different from the final SD70ACe version sent with the kits. These have a section that bends to resemble an angle. The bend was used to stiffen the handrail and have more adhesive surface, but proved to be too complicated and looked odd so I did away with it for the final version. If you plan on building a new loco and want some handrails to experiment with I have some. Please limit yourself to 2 pair so I can spread the wealth. I package between cardboard sent in an envelope to keep postage down to a stamp if possible. Across the pond might be a bit more.
