I finally got an answer for you. The SD40-2 will take 42" bit tight but 46" does much better. Since the 40-2 and T-2 came out about the same time I suspect they will have the same minimum radius. The gearing is high on them I've been told, 1:1 or 2:1 and should be 4:1. Greg
