DRGW SD45 5333

    I was just wondering if the 5333 when it was repainted with the large lettering had the "wrong" Rio Grande on the nose until it was retired, or did it ever get the "correct" one?
    Does any one know?

    I would just about bet that it kept the same nose until or if CP repainted it. It became CP 5493.

    Like a mirrored image--the orange is replaced with black, and vice versa?
    I had never seen that before!
