I was wondering how some of you felt on having one layout change trough all 4 seasons? My layout is going to be,I would say, midsized. 16' by 22' middle of room, with center dividers. There will be eight towns on it with approx. 10' between towns at any given point. I was thinking of starting in spring and work my way in and out of each season. Has anyone seen this done? and is it workable?
Andy: It's an interesting concept. I saw one O scale alyout done in the four seasons. It's dimensions were 60'x40'. That was about 40 years ago. You can acheive that in a space of 16x22' easily with some interesting scenic changes. Stay cool and run steam....
The picture in my mind looks like it might be interesting, although my mind pictures don't always come out!! I saw a two sided layout where it was desert scenry on one side and snowy mountain on the other, and it was quite interesting. I do have time to think about this more since I am doing a section at a time so we will see!
