Well, I got one of these recently, and I took it up to P.A.N.T. to test-run it. I used our JMRI setup to change the address away from the standard '03' and I tweaked the start voltage (Bachmann ships almost all N scale DCC equipped with a value of 10, which I think it too high, so I switch all of them to the 2-4 range). This thing ran beautifully, and it looks great. An N scaler visiting the club that night remarked, "when did Kato start making Santa Fes?" and I said, "Never, this is a Bachmann." He couldn't believe it. it went around several laps at 1/3 - 1/2 throttle forward and then several more at 1/2 throttle in reverse. Adam
