Yeah, it was pretty amazing. That was my first railfan trip to the Seligman Sub and couldn't believe the amount of trains. You could almost set your watch by them, alternating East/Westbound trains about 15 minutes apart. We were up there about 7 hours and logged about 27 trains, and that was with a serious traffic disruption due to a Westbound breaking a coupler knuckle. We had planned on going down and spending a day on the UP Sunset Route next year, but think we will head back North again next year. Will be hard to top that type of action. About as close as I get to it around here is in Tolono, Il. On an average day can see upwards of 30 trains a day between the NS and CN(IC), mostly NS
