I did kind of think that they just didn't send thanks. I didn't think too much about it because I'll have to admit - and it is a shame - I am among the WORST when it comes to thank you notes.
When dad passed in October 2019, we started having his mail forwarded it was good for one year supposedly. Through the course of the year, we found that there were random items of mail that never were forwarded and placed in his mail box and some was simply returned to the sender. Some apparently just disappeared to who knows where.
Yeah, but from the description, the package should have landed at the post office well within that 6 month window.
They will forward your mail for up to one year. Depends upon what you request, when you fill out the form.
No forwarding address order. Per the label on the box, it appears though that the postal system did not even begin to send the package back to us until October last year.
Well an order I placed from Japan has shipped by DHL after only a week and will be delivered by DHL not handed off. However the Christmas order made back in November has still not arrived. And another order made four weeks ago from Germany was shipped 3 weeks ago, I suspect that order is in a container on a ship.
Hopefully not in one of the containers knocked overboard on a ship in a storm. A few months ago I seen a news article about that, almost 200 containers overboard from a rogue wave. The ship ended up in Seattle.
It's one month and one day and a package shipped promptly has finally arrived - shipped December 12, arrived January 13. The eBay seller could have walked it here faster. Not his fault!!!! Yes, I left positive feedback.
I received a package yesterday, from the UK. Shipped December 20th, arrived January 13th. Seems as though the travel time was about normal.
Just got a notification that a part to my son's truck was going to be delayed. The Email came in at 10:00 or so last night. I checked the tracking on the part this morning and it showed at the local post office... on time and should be delivered tonight... I also noticed that the depot I was supposed to get on Saturday also shows at the post office... So I get a message that my part is delayed, but still arriving on time, and a model is early... Not gonna mess with it... just go with the flow on this one.
Even Amazon is seeming to have trouble with guessing the arrival dates. I ordered some glow plugs for the tractor that they said wouldn't arrive until Jan 25th that got here yesterday , but some other stuff that they said should have been here last Saturday still hasn't arrived. If you can't trust Amazon, who CAN you trust?
Still waiting for an item from Germany sent out over a month and a half ago and evidently Ebay does not have a clue because for a 2nd time they are asking me to rate the item. And on the item intended for a Christmas gift ordered back in November turns out that it is not the fault of the delivery service since I finally got an E-mail that the item is out of stock.
Ordered several module kits January 7th. Shipped from Texas, they arrived at my USPS on the 13th. Six days seems pretty darned good to me! I have not as yet had a chance to pick them up. Monday morning!!!
