On second thought........the websites I linked to are the firms that own a great deal of shortlines, not all the individual lines- that would be too much work But yes, I do agree we have a lot of links to shortlines right here on TB.
The site I've found that has the most short line RR links: http://www.aslrra.org/ The American Short Line RR Assn. Click on "Who We Serve", and then search for a specific company. You will also find that there are links to (ASLRRA member) support industry firms. Boxcab E50
Thats where I check once a month when I update the TrainBoard Link page. We have a few that they don't have.
It's good you DO check monthly, Jim- the way the shortline scene changes so much with new lines starting up & others shutting down, it's tough to keep up.
