Bachmann Doodlebug. Purchased off eBay as new. I bought a set of gears from JamesTrainParts.com and they’ll be installed when I add a decoder. The one photo shows the gears on the roof.
I recently found this Stewart Hobbies Rock Island F3A. Not my road, but I fell for the livery. The Kato drive appears new or slightly used.
My latest purchase was this Walthers SD50. It will need some tweaks to get it to more closely represent a Grande SD50....
I have gone nuts, full bore into HOn3. Designed a whole new layout and purchased a pile of rolling stock and locos. These are the latest two. A 2-8-2 and a 2-8-0. Both brass. They will be lettered for the Uintah Railway. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Received my Bowser RS-3's in the mail yesterday, the Ready-To-Repair engines had broken off number boards, sunshades and one of the long hood ladders, these will be an easy fix. But the engines overall look and run great! Rick Jesionowski
Rivarossi 0-4-0 which will get re-geared to improve slow speed. Has a tender from another source. Tender is brass.
No photo's but I found one of those Atlas track cleaning cars that vacuums and also cleans with pads. I think are manufactured by Dipol of England but Atlas sold them for a couple years with an orange paint job.
I once had 3 of the D&RGW SD50's but I'm not good at adding the nose light and they don't look right without it. Hopefully someday the SD50 will be offered with the nose signal light!
I could go through this thread forever! Very nice and slick looking equipment. Just the same as it was earlier in the day at the LHS tower of shelves with items. To bad they all had price tags. haha I've had these two babies for a while. Since I dont have quite the HO layout Yet. I still like to pull them out and remind myself that I have them from time to time. Upon finishing my programming/testing track today I was able to find a spot for them to play temporarily. It amazes me how without any tuning, these Athearn BB Southern Pacific GP40-2 Locos ran. Same address no advanced consisting or anything. Run like butter. It seems to be more fun running them and just watching the gap move. lol Enjoy!
I have changed out, and worked on, many wheelsets, but finally broke down and bought the truck spreader pliers from MicroMark that arrived this weekend. Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk
Nice I bet those are very Helpful! I have in my time flung a truck wheel or two and not retrieved it haha
