Well we finally managed to have the Workington Model railway exhibition which you may recall was cancelled late last year because of the devastating floods in Cumbria that weekend. The show was very good with about 1,300 people coming through the doors in the two days and the traders seemed quite happy as well.

Cuyahoga just missed out on the top prize (The trophy voted for by the public) to the Furness club '00' scale layout but once again amazed people with the quality of the running and the detail on modern Z scale stock.

    NEXT UP

The 2010 London Festival of Railway Modelling at Alexandra Palace 27-28 March

A much bigger show and one of the premier showcases for U.K railway modelling. sadly there is only one 'Z' gauge layout there but the good news it is 'Cuyahoga' and we expect to surprise a lot of people who have not seen it before.
Any members of the forum who attend are welcome to introduce themselves as we know we get a lot of visitors from mainland Europe at this event
