Can anyone point me to a map on the 'Net for a predecessor company? Am looking for something that might show the Current River RR. Also, what year was the CRRR merged into the Frisco? BoxcabE50
I'm not knowlegable on the Current River RR , but I poked around the net out of curiosity to see what I could dig up for you... Possible Map Resources: 1) http://thecaperock.com/places/mo/railroads/#Current-River-Line History on relevant RR Mergers: 1) http://tacnet.missouri.org/~mgood/clintonrr/kcfsm.html#KCFSG 2) http://web.umr.edu/~whmcinfo/shelf15/r362/guide.html (once this page loads, use CTRL-F then type "Current River" to find all references) Hope these are helpful if nobody else is able to provide additional information. Cheers! -Mike
One more place, he has a listing on the members links page, is a friends site. CHORINA - Corporate History of Railroads in North America[/B]</FONT>
I can look in my history of the railroad book. I don't recall that one though. I'll get back later... Charlie

The story behind my question is this: I am a devout train order collector. (From ALL RR's world wide!) After many long years of looking, I finally have what should be a CRRR example for my collection. I thought it was on their line. But was not 100% certain. It's copied on a joint KCFS&M/KCC&S/CRRR form. And now I know for certain that it is a CRRR line order. If anyone can find the date, I'd really appreciate knowing when the CRRR was absorbed into the Frisco. I always make note of this in my paperwork. Thanks all! BoxcabE50
