I got interested in trains when I was about 11 years old. Mom bought me an N scale Santa Fe F7 with 4 coaches. Through my very young years I collected more stuff and dreamed about one day having a real layout... Fast forward 45 years and I've aquired a good assortment of steam era locos, cars, kits, etc. I 'finally' have a train room! My first real layout! Anyway, Howdy :D

As long as your ship comes in, it's all good! I also hope you'll share some photos with us, even to the extent of letting us peer in on construction of your empire!

Welcome aboard, Herb. I am pretty sure that the N scale forum is the most popular one on our site, and you will find a lot of help there.

Hi Herb, Welcome to the Train Board. Looking forward to seeing what your "Train Room" produces. I've been modeling HO and N trains for 67 years, but I've only had scenery that I can be proud of for about five years, after I got a decent train room.
    So there's hope...:)
