I don't know of any one site, however between Trainboard, and the Yahoo group, you will hear about anything in the works before other places.

Sometimes the things that people post about, myself included, don't ever make it to market for one reason or another.

I know Loren Snyder of the Yahoo list is the biggest leak from MTL, because he lives in Medford, is an MTL dealer, and is good friends with Joe D'Amato who designs MTL products.

On Trainboard we have Rob Kluz, who runs Ztrack Magazine, and he has been known to "pre-announce" a thing or two.

We also have Alan Curtis of AC Models, Eric of E&D Models, Mark of Mark 4 Design, and Alain Pelletier all posting of soon to be released Z Scale products.

Sometimes I think Trainboard is one of the best kept secrets of the Z Scale world, as you can usually get all your Z Scale questions answered here. Now if we could just get the word out to other Z Scalers about Trainboard, then I'm sure we would find out about even more neet stuff in the works. :D

This is definitely the place to hear about new Z offerings. My Z spine cars are nearly ready ;)

Sometimes, having produced an item is not quite the same as making it public. I have dozens of items to be released but things are just "Not quite ready" either packaging, marketing or complications - difficulty of reproducing with acceptable yield.

Also, since we need to eat as well, we must focus on what we think will bring revenue in the shortest amount of time.

A project can have a very short life if it is believed not to be able to pay for itself.

As a modelist, I love Z - It offers so many possibilities.
