I'm always looking to keep my N-Scale BNSF fleet as current as possible. Can anyone help me find photo's and/or information about former Santa Fe SD40-2 "SNOOT" SF #5027? I'd like to know if it's been "patched", repainted, or retired. I require the same info on BN SD40-2 (non-snoot) BN#6333.

    Thanks for any help!

Brent, assuming it is still around, ATSF 5027 should have been renumbered BNSF 6342, and BN 6333 should keep the same number.

Don't know if they have been repainted H1.

I too, have those numbers on my N scale SD40's [IMG]

    Small World, isn't it? [IMG]
Alan, If you're going to remumber your ATSF unit, let me know what number you choose, I hate having "repeats" with friends, just doesn't seem right for some reason! I also have to ask Ed Pinkley about his BN Units, he may also have 6333! If he does, I'm changing that one too, probably with a "BNSF Patch".

Brent, my 'snoot' will be 5113 but renumbered to BNSF 6772. (Saw it on Cajon). The 6333 will also be renumbered, but have not decided which, yet. But there are so many of the BN SD40-2's, it would sure be a coincidence if we chose the same one [IMG]
